Traffic Citations issued by law enforcement officers of Stanislaus County contain the information regarding the date, time, and place of appearance of your hearing. If you are an adult, you can head straight towards 2260 Floyd Avenue, Modesto for the court hearing. Extension requests can be made either on the phone or via email. The request however needs to be made on or before the due date mentioned on the traffic citation. The Court allows you to pay traffic fines, bail amounts, and administrative charges through check, phone, or online. Payments on the phone can be made by using a debit or a credit card. For online payments, apart from a debit and credit card, you can also use the electronic fund transfer option. Extra charges are levied for online payments.
Attending traffic school is allowed only for certain traffic infractions. If you hold a valid non-commercial driver's license, have not attended traffic school in last 18-months, you are eligible for traffic school. Traffic school requests can be made by appearing in-person or by mailing in bail payment receipts, administrative charges and traffic school fees in a self-addressed stamped envelope to 2260 Floyd Ave., Modesto, CA 95355.
If you have chosen the classroom study course, it is your responsibility to ensure that the traffic school completion certificate is submitted to the DMV on or before the due date. Online traffic schools send the completion certificate directly to the DMV, but you should check this too or be sure this action was completed (save any confirmation such as an email confirmation).
