More Information – Merced County Traffic Schools
The Traffic Division of the Merced County Superior Court allows eligible drivers to take traffic school to keep citation points off their record. To qualify:
- You must have a citation for a moving violation
- You must not have taken traffic school within the past 18 months
- You must not have more than three infractions on your record
- You must not have a misdemeanor on your driving record
The court charges a $70 fee for traffic school that must be paid in addition to the cost of your citation and traffic school course. Merced County allows you to pay your traffic ticket and the traffic school fee online using a credit or debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo.
